We invite you to come be a part of the Youth Ministry at Camp UMC. Our mission is to Know God, Grow in our relationship with Him, and Go out as disciples sharing His love with others.
Our Youth Group meets almost every Wednesday from 6:00-7:30 pm following the school calendar. We meet at Camp UMC in the Youth and Family Center, unless otherwise noted. Each week we enjoy a snack supper, a time of fellowship and fun, as well as an opportunity to learn and grow in our faith walk. I hope that you will come check it out!
If you have any questions, please reach out to me, Kelly Littlejohn, Youth Director, at 910-712-4565, or [email protected]

Sermon Series Overview: “Filtered”: We are addicted to technology. It’s normal now. However, we were never created to be sucked into devices. The Filtered Series shows how we can use it effectively, giving students handles to put technology in its rightful place. It’s time we get serious about loving the Lord our God by governing how we interact with the digital world.
Week 1: How and why we were created, what our response to our creator is, and where that leaves us.
|September 15th||Week 2: We will see how Jesus empowers us to overcome those hurdles and fulfill His purpose for our lives.|
|September 22nd||Week 3: We will focus on how we are to view others and what that means for our use of technology.|
|September 29th||Week 4: We will wrap up by seeing how we can redemptively use technology to glorify God!|
|October 6th||Pizza with the Pastor or Game Night (TBD)|
|October 13th||Sermon Series Overview “Connected”: Communication is vital in any relationship, and our relationship with God is no different. Instead, the biblical writers recorded for us gospels that give us “pictures” of who Jesus was during His time on earth so that we might know all that the Son of God did and said-and believe in Him even today. Using the book of Luke, we will look at 4 pictures of Jesus prompting students to a deeper love for and faith in their Savior Jesus.
