Bible/Book Study ~ The Bible With and Without Jesus by Amy Jill-Levine and Marc Brettler. Two times to choose from: 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays in the Fellowship Hall and 2:00 p.m. on Thursdays in the YFC. More about this study: In this Bible study based on their book, The Bible With and Without Jesus, esteemed Bible scholars and teachers Amy-Jill Levine and Marc Zvi Brettler take readers on a guided tour of the most popular Hebrew Bible passages quoted in the New Testament to show what the texts meant in their original contexts and then how Jews and Christians, over time, understood those same texts. Invite a friend and join us beginning September 9th!

Reaching Out and Helping Others
The Brunswick Cooperative Community on Mission (BCCoM) thanks all of you who so generously donated books and undies to our effort to support the Brunswick County Day4Hope. The combined efforts of our participating churches (Camp UMC, Zion UMC, Concord UMC, and Ocean View UMC) will make a huge difference in helping local students and their families be prepared to start the new school year. The Friday Night Meals are from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Welcome to Camp United Methodist Church; we’re glad you are here!Camp United Methodist Church has a fully staffed nursery available. Bring your children by to meet our staff and leave them to learn about Jesus with our other children. Our ushers can assist you. As a convenience for anyone finding it difficult to hear the service, listening devices are available. Please ask one of our ushers to assist you. We encourage and remind parents that 3rd grade, and older children are invited to worship alongside their families. Worship notebooks are provided for 3-5 grade students who are remaining in the sanctuary with their families. These notebooks contain coloring books, and children’s bulletins that are based on the scripture each Sunday. If you are not receiving email correspondence from our church, you may need to update your information and pictures, or if you need help loading the Instant Church Directory on your phone or computer, please reach out to Robin in the church office.
